For 20 years Schumacher College has been pioneering a different model of education.
Based on an Indian ashram model, students don’t just learn together, but eat, clean, cook and garden as a community. Having gathered a worldwide reputation for producing thought leaders in the fields of ecology, spirituality and philosophy, the college is part of the ecosystem of ecologically minded projects that exist in a rural area of Devon, UK.
At the college there is the option to study postgraduate, vocational and short courses. Students are encouraged to explore the roots of current global crises and to actively engage in their resolution out in the wider world.
